Eight old friends...
....working on one Special Christmas Project!
For the last few years we, eight old friends, have chosen a charity we'd like to help out around the holidays. We use our time, talents, and resources to benefit those in need. Many of us make hand crafted items that are sold at boutiques. Angie donates the money raised from her Christmas photo sessions. Other of us spend time in the kitchen making delicious holiday treats that are sold.
We look forward to picking a new service each year. We enjoy working together as friends. Each year we are delighted by the generosity of those around us.
This blog was created to to give you an idea of how you can be involved and to THANK those who generously help us pull off a Special Christmas Project each year.

2010 Festival of Trees Project
'HEARTS INSPIRE US'
We used our 2010 earnings from the Holiday Photo Shoots and Craft Boutique to make a beautiful tree for some special little angels! The tree was amazing and we were able to donate $1,500 to Primary Children’s Medical Center when all was said and done!
What a cool experience! From start to finish our Festival of Trees project touched my heart. So many willing and wonderful people came out to support us at our fundraising boutiques and played a huge part in our success. Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, got pictures taken, and helped in any way. We couldn't have done this without you.
Decorating day was definitely one of the highlights of the experience for me. It all came down to that day after weeks of preparation. We got up bright and early and battled the storm to get to the Southtowne Expo center where we spent the entire day putting up our tree, securing it with PVC pipe and rebar, fluffing, loading in our decor and gifts, wiring and gluing all of our items to the tree, and cleaning up and organizing the space we were given to display our items. All the while I was lucky enough to do this with some of my very best friends in the world. The day flew by and I couldn't have been happier with the finished product.
Our tree was named "Hearts Inspire Us" after the precious baby hearts that inspire us all.
Ava, Breck, and Brynlee
We are so looking forward to another year and hope to be able to help a family in need enjoy a Happy Holiday season with all of the proceeds! Thank you in advance to all who help make it possible!
